Cloak is a desktop app that simulates your iPhone’s location over USB. Search an address, drive a realistic road route, and return to your real location with one click.

Address search, real roads, realistic motion, and safe cleanup.
Type a full address or place, pick the right match, or enter coordinates directly. Powered by Photon.
Star search results or save a destination. Favorites stay on your computer with Start/End shortcuts for routes.
Choose a start and end, add via points on the map, and build an OSRM route that follows real roads.
OpenStreetMap speed tags are used where available (MPH converted correctly), with your fallback speed elsewhere.
Acceleration and braking, corner slowdowns, and configurable simulated waits at signals and stop signs.
Pick a local arrival time and review the departure. Cloak waits at the start, and rejects impossible times instead of speeding.
Automatically clear the simulated location after a set number of minutes, using a worker-side timer independent of the UI.
Midnight, Daylight, Ocean and System. Changes apply instantly and persist locally.
USB discovery runs in a separate worker. Lookups and routing only lock their own controls, so the map never freezes.
Sandboxed renderer, no exposed HTTP control server, USB-only phone access, and no analytics or license server.
No phone handy? Connect the virtual iPhone to explore the whole interface and try routes.
Install a Cloak IPA that is already signed for your trusted iPhone. iOS verifies the signature; Cloak never asks for an Apple password.
From download to your first simulated location in eight steps.
Run CloakSetup.exe and follow the wizard. It installs for your Windows user and adds Start menu and desktop shortcuts. Close any old Cloak window first; saved places are kept.
If the Apple USB service isn’t already on your PC, install Apple’s Apple Devices app. Cloak does not bundle Apple’s driver.
Launch Cloak, turn on Demo mode, refresh the list, and connect the virtual iPhone to explore without a phone.
Leave Demo mode off, plug in with a USB data cable, unlock the phone, and tap Trust This Computer.
On the iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode. Restart the phone and confirm.
Press refresh, select the exact USB iPhone, and choose Connect. Cloak prepares the compatible developer image automatically. The first download needs Internet and can take several minutes.
Click the map or enter latitude/longitude, choose Locate on map, then Simulate location. Check the result on your phone.
Before unplugging, choose Return to real location and verify on the phone. If clearing fails, reconnect the same iPhone and clear again, or restart it.
Realistic routes in seven steps.
Use your iPhone or Demo mode’s virtual phone.
Open Route, use Find to resolve both addresses (or pick favorites or map points). Extra map clicks add via points.
Leave Follow roads on. Pick the fallback speed and unit, mapped-limit use, signal stops, and simulated red-light wait.
Click Build road route & estimate arrival and review speed-limit coverage and any provider warnings.
Enable Plan an arrival time or set the session timer. Cloak warns if the timer ends before you arrive.
The live panel shows waiting, driving, simulated stops, speed cap and estimated arrival. Pause holds position.
The endpoint stays held until you clear it or the timer expires.
Download the Windows installer and be set up in minutes.

Cloak runs on your computer. We run no servers that receive your data, and Cloak has no accounts, license checks or analytics.
These services see your IP address, and only when you search, view or route:
Requests are rate-limited, cached locally, and there is no type-ahead search or bulk geocoding. Each provider has its own privacy policy.
Cloak talks only to iPhones connected by USB. Wi-Fi fallback is disabled and no HTTP device-control server is exposed. Normal exit attempts to clear any active simulation.
Delete favorites and the cache inside the app, or uninstall Cloak and remove its profile folder to erase all local data. Cloak sends no coordinates to us.
This page uses no cookies, trackers or analytics. Fonts and images are served with the page.
By downloading or using Cloak you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Cloak is free software under GPL-3.0-or-later. Third-party components are listed in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.
Use Cloak only on devices you own or are authorized to control, and only for lawful purposes such as development, testing, privacy and education. Do not use it to deceive others, evade the law, defraud services, cheat in games or apps against their rules, or interfere with safety or emergency services. You are responsible for following the terms of any app or service you use with a simulated location.
This is an unsigned development build with an unverified hardware matrix. Behavior on every iOS version and device is not guaranteed. A successful command does not guarantee what each app displays.
Always return to your real location before unplugging. Power loss, forced exit or a disconnected cable can prevent cleanup. Back up your device, and understand that enabling Developer Mode changes your phone’s security settings.
Speed limits, signals and routes come from community services without availability or accuracy guarantees. Never rely on them for real navigation or legal speed limits.
